Our Angels class is the newest addition to the Lion & Lamb campus. This is our second 3 year old classroom. Children must also be fully potty trained to attend this class. The Angels will build social and emotions skills through learning routine and mastering transitions. They will work on self management as they rotate through centers in the classroom while also doing hands on projects and activities. They will gain academic skills in numbers, letter recognition and phonic sounds. They will master shapes and colors. Most importantly they will gain an understanding of who God is, and the love He has for us. They will learn and demonstrate Christian values such as forgiveness and compassion for others, just as Christ has for us.
The Cherubs class welcome our 3 year old children who are fully potty trained, into the world of preschool. We focus on creating a warm, loving environment where children can learn to say “bye” to their parents and work on social skills and emotional development. Our academic goals are taught through a play based curriculum that includes shapes, colors, letter recognition, number recognition and counting. The children also learn their phonic sounds with the Zoophonics program. We instill an understanding of who God is, that He created us, and that He loves us all. We teach the children about God’s forgiveness as we work on social skills.
The Lambs class welcomes children who are four years old by September 30th of each year. The Lambs class is rich with hands on activities and exploration. Children will experience science, phonics, language arts, social studies, and creative art. These are all taught through hands on play based activities. Our teachers take the time to play with the children and show them the love that they all need and deserve. We incorporate Christian values, and an understanding of God’s love in each day.
The Lions class is a program built for children who have turned 4 by September 30th of each year. The children will prepare for Kindergarten with hands on experiments, exploration, art projects and play based academics. The teachers show their love for the Lord in the care they provide for each of the children in their class. The children will learn about God’s love and move closer to Him through daily devotions and Christian Values.
